themes for the next 12 months
USSA sees staff
well-being at the centre of the way change is managed at UNAIDS.
We expect inclusive dialogue on key issues
affecting organizational change and the achievement of the programme's mandate.
- We will ensure that staff interests and
opinions are reflected in the SIE and other key reviews of the organisation
We will continue to promote equitable access to
professional development opportunities so staff can best support countries to
deliver on Universal Access.
USSA promotes
transparency and accountability throughout UNAIDS.
We promote transparency in decision-making.
- We will ensure that staff voices are
listened to at all stages of the change management process
We promote accountability in our leaders.
- We will establish a structured working
relationship with the newly-established Office of Ethics and Organisational
Performance
We advocate to change UNAIDS' business practices
to reduce our environmental impact.
USSA is dedicated to
protecting and promoting the well-being of all UNAIDS staff.
We promote diversity and professional conduct,
and zero-tolerance of harassment, stigma and discrimination in the UNAIDS
workplace.
We advocate for implementation of work-life
balance and diversity policies, contract reform and policies related to
conditions of service and job security, to ensure a motivated, creative and
productive staff.
We will influence the UN system for equity in
benefits, entitlements and rights for staff in domestic partnerships and
same-sex relationships.
