It keeps staff informed about their rights, advocates with Member States on important staff issues, tries to influence the administration towards more staff-friendly policies, represents international civil servants on inter-agency bodies that made decisions about us, provides information to members on human resources and reform, and provides advice and support when there are conflicts.
